Girls’ Brigade England and Wales are excited to be working with the Methodist Church on expanding and introducing new groups, for girls aged 4-17, into areas with a high military family presence. This project seeks to build friendships, strengthen community, and explore the spiritual side of life for girls in military families. By offering tried and tested faith-based support to children in military families, Girls’ Brigade can help them to develop their confidence and resilience, something we know is a challenge in today’s world.

The day was led by Katie Hurst (District Team Leader) and Hannah Morpeth (Team Leader), with fantastic support from Sam Cree (Leader at 1st Ryton) who brought her creativity and led some prayer spaces for leaders.

The results are out for Team Challenge 2025 – a national competition GB groups could be part of, at a convenient time for them, between 24 March and 20 June. This year the packs featured creative challenges, games, and Bible stories based around the life of Moses.
