Groups across England and Wales have been celebrating 130 years of Girls' Brigade in so many ways. Some groups have been in touch to let us know how...

While some GB groups have been travelling around the country on camps and residentials, others have been away for day trips or enjoying activities in their towns and cities.

A local Girls’ Brigade community group is celebrating its 88th anniversary this year - and is also moving from Hurstpierpoint to Burgess Hill.

Despite the disappointing weather, we've been so pleased to hear that many groups still ventured out on residentials and camps this summer.

1st Timperley Girls’ Brigade & 2nd Altrincham Boys' Brigade were thrilled on Saturday 1st July to be the first-ever winners of the Rosalinda Fazackerley Memorial Award for Best Float in Show, as well as the community trophy, at Altrincham Festival.

We love to celebrate the successes of our members, and when the end of the GB year comes around in July, many groups take part in awards evenings and celebration events.
