GB groups across England and Wales have been travelling far and wide on day trips and residential events this summer.

Even with our fundraising challenge coming up, GB groups have been raising money for other great causes...

For the last two weeks, the world has been tuned into the 2024 Paris Olympic games, cheering on athletes in sports previously unknown to us, and connecting us to the world of top-tier athletic competition. In 2028, we’ll probably tune in all over again.

July is always a great time to reflect on the past year and celebrate all that GB members have achieved. This year has been no different, with many groups holding awards evenings and celebration events to mark the end of the GB year.

Summer activities are in full swing with camps, special activity days and treats for young people as the final term of the GB year comes to a close.

GB community groups can link up with the Royal Navy for free sessions designed to develop and practice leadership, communication and teamwork skills – and have fun at the same time.

On Saturday 27th April, 9 girls from 1st Amesbury Girls’ Brigade (supported by three leaders) undertook a day of adventurous sailing on the Jolie Brise.
