Are you moving away from your local GB group to start university or a new job?

July is always a great time to reflect on the past year and celebrate all that GB members have achieved. This year has been no different, with many groups holding awards evenings and celebration events to mark the end of the GB year.

Summer activities are in full swing with camps, special activity days and treats for young people as the final term of the GB year comes to a close.

GB community groups can link up with the Royal Navy for free sessions designed to develop and practice leadership, communication and teamwork skills – and have fun at the same time.

On Saturday 27th April, 9 girls from 1st Amesbury Girls’ Brigade (supported by three leaders) undertook a day of adventurous sailing on the Jolie Brise.

Several GB groups have been in touch to let us know about exciting celebrations they've had to commemorate the anniversaries of the opening of their groups and long service of their leaders.

We’re asking all our Girls’ Brigade groups to take part in our fundraising challenge – helping both themselves and Girls’ Brigade England & Wales.

As part of their recent badgework, 2nd Barnsley were able to tie in a contribution to their local community this term.
