The visit, last month, was organised as part of the Caring badge topic by GB Leader Melanie Deeks.
She says ‘We’ve been talking about how we care for each other. I took a very special member of my family, Boba, to meet the girls. She is my year old miniature schnauzer, and we looked at how I look after her and the time and money it takes to feed, train and groom her as well as vets bills and insurance.
‘The girls were calm, gentle and kind, and Boba behaved beautifully. I was very proud of them all. Fudge the Floppy Dog might be our official mascot but Boba is a firm favourite at 1st Uxbridge.’
