The concert will be family friendly, and so children from the ages of 11 to 18 can be included.
Gates are expected to open from 6pm, with the concert beginning at 8.30pm. The concert will last 90 minutes, and finish at 10pm. No alcohol will be served at the concert, but there will be refreshment concession stands available.
DCMS are working with the MET Police on entry requirements into the concert. The usual search protocol will be in place, and only small handbags will be permitted.
This is an accessible concert. Please indicate any accessibility requirements on the ticket request spreadsheet so we can pass this on.
We will need to give names and email addresses for everyone wanting to attend. This information will be passed to DCMS so that invitations can be emailed through a third-party ticketing company.
There are two options to choose from when attending, which we hope will mean lots of GB members will be able to take up this invitation.
Option 1 – attend as a GB group with a minimum of 3 adults including 2 registered GB leaders. Depending on the size and/or needs of your group more adults may be necessary.
Option 2 – extend the invitation to the families of your GB members, so that families form their own party and take responsibility for their own children.
We will need GB groups to register on their behalf using the ticket request spreadsheet, regardless of which option is chosen.
There is no limit on the number of tickets you can request, but you will need to complete the spreadsheet fully with all the information required before submitting your request to us. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The ticket request spreadsheet (downloadable here) should be submitted to jayne.jones@gb-ministries.org by 2 April 2025 at the latest.
A nationwide VE Day opportunity for GB groups
news
To mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have organised a special concert on Thursday 8 May 2025 on Horse Guards Parade, in conjunction with the BBC. We have been invited to attend this exciting event and are really pleased to be able to open this up to our GB members and their families.
