Gillian Sinclair-Clarke was honoured for her work in the community – including her 60 plus years in Girls’ Brigade.
One of her fellow GB leaders, Anthea Herrett, says ‘Gillian is a pivotal personality in the local Amesbury community. She has many voluntary roles, which she has held for in excess of 50 years in many sectors of the community – Church, education, Girls’ Brigade, and archaeology.
‘Gillian is the definitive example of someone who puts the local community and young people first, making a huge difference to their lives. Her energy and enthusiasm know no limit; Gillian is an inspiration and role model to all, young and old, who are lucky enough to know her. Well done Gillian we are so proud!’
GB’s Assistant Director Catherine Burt adds ‘Congratulations Gillian. We’re so pleased you’ve been recognised in this way and in such a special Jubilee year.’
