Girls’ Brigade International President’s Committee visit the UK

news

Last week the Girls’ Brigade International President’s Committee (IPC) visited the GB International office based at Cliff College, for their annual meeting.

The week involved lots of meetings looking at the work of GB all around the world and putting plans together for the future of The Girls’ Brigade.

As part of the week the IPC enjoyed an evening trip to see the Watoto Children’s Choir, an afternoon visiting Chatsworth House and a visit to 1st Swallownest GB group. Their week was rounded up with a celebratory evening hosted by GBEW. The evening included interviews with some GB members, worship led by Cliff College’s Carole Marsden, food and fellowship. We were honoured that the Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Elizabeth Fothergill CBE was also in attendance.

Thank you to all those who prayed for the IPC’s visit and thank you to the GB groups from England and Wales who sent in videos to welcome the team. You can watch the video below.
