Leaders joined on Zoom and in person at Didcot Baptist Church, in Oxfordshire, to hear the latest GB news, worship, enjoy each other’s company and more.
Highlights of the day included:
- A brief update on our strategic plan
- An update on our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work
- Sharing the great news that GB has started a National Training Team
After the business meeting, the afternoon conference session focused on exploring ways to grow our GB groups, including a session from faith and charity public relations specialists Jersey Road, and a session hearing from groups across the country about how they’ve recruited new members
After the equipping session, delegates comments included ‘Excellent speaker – enthused me to try to use media to make GB known’ and ‘Really good! Very encouraging to listen to other group leaders.’
The whole day concluded in worship led by Church Army Evangelist Andrena Palmer, who used to be a GB member and leader.
